“My grandfather Prudencio Dalanon Rosero served as Vice-Mayor of Milagros for seventeen consecutive years”, he reminisced. He finished his elementary and secondary education with honors at Milagros East Central School and Masbate School of Fisheries, respectively. “It’s so disappointing because I always ended up as second honorable mention,” he says. “But still happy because I was in the top four of the graduates.” He attended the Bicol University and earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration major in Management in 2001. During his university days, he was an active member and officer of different organizations inside and outside the campus. He was the Executive Editor of “The Executive”, the official publication of BU College of Arts and Sciences Management Department (now Bicol University College of Business Economics and Management). A News Writer for BU Bulletin (now BUzzette)… (temporarily deleted due to on going contest)

And in 2009 he became the President-Elect of the said club.
While working and helping others Gerald sees to it that he still has time to do his hobbies. “I love dancing and acting,” he recalls. ” The president of PMA (Pangasinan Medical Association) invited me to audition for their upcoming projects. I gave a try and luckily I was one of the performers for Miss Saigon, Jesus Christ Super Star and Phantom of the Opera. Although I was not the main character because I cannot sing very well ahahhahaha but I’m proud that I was a part of the success of that event.”
On February 15, 2010 he left Philippines for United Arab Emirates where he worked as a Brand Ambassador for LG Smartphones.
Gerald represented the Philippines and won the second prize for Icing Competition during the 2011 Food Fiesta held at Lulu Supermarket, Al Wahda Mall, Abu Dhabi City. “It was my friend who wrote my name and contact number. He bought the things I needed and he informed me a night before the event. It was a wonderful experience to represent my country in a competition. Icing is not my forte, albeit I made it!,” he shared.
